Pure malt Whisky
Distilled spirits made only from barley are called pure malt whiskey. Pure malt whiskey is made of barley malt baked on open-air peat. It is distilled with a pot still, usually after two distillations. After distillation, the alcohol content of the liquor is 63.4 degrees. Aged in oak barrels and diluted with water before bottling.
