Three Reasons to Love Growing Herbs
First: most herbs are very easy to care for.
As long as you take care when planting and water well over the next few days, you’ve already done most of the work.
Second: Many herbs are still real “hunger strike kings”.
That is, they only need a small number of nutrients to be satisfied.
Yes, vanilla can fully express its characteristics in poor soil. Their biggest requirement for the environment is as much sunlight and heat as possible.
Third: Deriving new plants from your own herbs.
If you find a sunny location for your herbs and they grow vigorously, you can get the next generation of herbs from your own plants, or create a fragrant herb hedge for your vegetables.

How to Propagate Herbs
In addition to being planted with seeds, vanilla plants can also be propagated by simple divisions, and the planted and developed herbs can be further divided. Not only can a certain type of vanilla be propagated, but also plants with small yields or messy growth can be reproduced. Get a new life.
The seasons suitable for ramets are spring and autumn.
Some varieties are suitable for division, and some varieties are not suitable for division.
Since the operation of branching is also very simple for beginners, it is best to give it a try.
cuttings
Cutting is the process of cutting the stem of a plant and inserting it into the soil so that it takes root and becomes a new plant.
This approach works well with thyme, peppermint, and rosemary, as well as vanilla from the Lamiaceae family. Liliaceous herbs such as umbelliferous, cruciferous, and chives are not suitable for this method.
step 1
Put red jade soil (small grains) in the seedling raising grid and put it in a tray filled with water to make it fully absorb water.
step 2
Cut off the thick and healthy stems of about 10cm, and prepare them as branches for cuttings.
step 3
Cut off the lower 1/3 of the leaves, and then cut off the top (topping).
step 4
Insert it into the water cup immediately afterward, and ensure that the cuttings are well-hydrated before they are formally inserted into the soil.
step 5
Use convenient chopsticks to insert a small hole in the seedling raising grid, and then insert a cutting branch in each seedling raising grid.
Since the root grows from the part where the leaves were cut, make sure to insert this part completely into the soil when cutting.
step 6
After cutting, put the seedling raising grid in a place sheltered from wind and shade, and keep the water for about 1 month.
Herbs suitable for branching
Parsley, oregano, chives, mint, fennel, lemongrass, lemongrass, and more.
1. Take the plant out of the pot together with the roots and buds.
2. To prevent damage to the roots, break them apart by hand. When breaking apart, follow the natural direction of the plant, and do not forcefully pull it.
3. Plant the separated plants in different pots.
